Dr. Strasser's Bio:
Dr. Strasser is an assistant professor in orthopaedic surgery. He received his orthopaedic training at the Mayo Clinic with a foot and ankle sports subspecialty training at OrthoCarolina with Dr. Robert Anderson. He spent the last 9 years in private practice in Eugene OR where he took care of the University of Oregon as well as organizing caring for and organizing medical coverage for multiple national track and field events including the NCAA finals, the Indoor World Championship and multiple Olympic Trials.
Dr. Strasser specializes in sports foot and ankle related injuries as well as Foot and Ankle arthroscopy, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Trauma and Reconstruction. He has authored several peer reviewed journal articles and text books. He serves as a podcast host with the American Foot and Ankle Society and his own “Indications” podcast. Strasser is a team physician for Vanderbilt University Athletics, Nasvhille SC and the Nasvhille Predators.
